Wait What? Thomas Ratliff Lobbied for OUTLANDISH Public Information Act Charges Against Parents #txlege #txed

Never mind that Texas tax payers pay for everything school related, but “ineligible” SBOE Thomas Ratliff pushed for Texas parents to pay an additional 10 cents per copy and $20 per hour for a public information request?

 

So many times I’d find something like this “smoking gun” and request a copy, then when the clerk got to the xerox machine and realized what it was, refused to give us the copy; we then had no record at all of the document’s existence and it became our word versus the schools.’

YAY! ===> Pursuant to a post by Dianna Pharr, on April 1, 2011 the Appeals Court threw out the Thomas Ratliff’s lawsuit against parents.
